On Sunday, March 12th, our pilot 1-barrel system was fired up, and we had our first brew day in months—an IPA with Amarillo and Citra hops is currently fermenting away. The first time we brewed this beer was on the longest day of the year (when we “fell back”), so it was aptly named Long Day IPA. This time, however, it was brewed on the shortest day of the year (when we “sprang forward”), so now it will need a new name.
